A business that has spent more than a decade recycling computers and other electronics has invested about $1 million in a state-of-the-art machine to recycle all types of light bulbs.

Several hundred thousand bulbs have already passed through eLot Electronics Recycling, where the English-made machine grinds bulbs into shards and powder, and separates hazardous mercury, as well as glass, aluminum and brass, for resale and reuse in other products.
